LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is thrilled to present an incredible opportunity for a Property Controller to join a confidential client in Wilmington, DE. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys overseeing the financial operations of multiple properties within a commercial and residential portfolio. As a Property Controller, you'll be responsible for a wide range of accounting and financial tasks, ensuring the smooth financial management of each property. You'll also have the chance to collaborate closely with Asset Management, Property Management, and senior leadership. Key Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of multiple properties.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure the financial needs of properties are met.
  • Prepare and review lender compliance reports on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with Asset and Property Managers on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Support external auditors during year-end audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Work with external CPAs on annual tax returns for property entities.
  • Lead special projects and other duties as needed to support the financial health of the properties.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger practices.
  • Education Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience Needed :

  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, with a focus on property management.
  • Experience with MRI Software or similar property management software (preferred, but not required).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and database applications.

    Pay Details : $115,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
