Our client in New Hyde Park is actively seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager or Controller to oversee the company's financial operations. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Sage Intacct. The ideal candidate will be a motivated Accounting Manager with a minimum of 4 years' accounting experience, exhibiting keen attention to detail and a strong deadline-oriented mindset. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this role presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the month-end close process by recording various journal entries and providing insightful suggestions for process improvements.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Prepare cash flow projections and engage in Ad Hoc reporting.
- Handle and assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and V-Look Ups.
