About the Role
The Senior Accountant is tasked with maintaining precise financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aiding in financial decision-making. This role requires a solid foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting, along with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support business processes and integrate financial systems. Additionally, this position involves general office and administrative duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly billing cycles, including preparing and reconciling balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and other financial reports and schedules.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Prepare staff productivity reports and work with project staff to enhance timekeeping accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant financial regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary information and documentation.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and client billing processes; reconcile the general ledger.
- Serve as the main point of contact for office and Crown Center operations regarding staff changes, security, and facility access.
- Oversee office lease management with the VP of Finance and handle office maintenance, including managing supplies and equipment.
- Provide administrative support to team members as needed.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 5-7 years of accounting experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to introduce new ideas and concepts to improve efficiency.
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite and project accounting preferred).

Salary : $40 - $55
