What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Accountant position at LHH?
LHH has partnered with a commercial manufacturing company on a direct hire AP Accountant role in Georgetown, TX. To be considered for the role you must have a minimum of five years full cycle AP processing experience including handling month end AP duties and understanding GL reconciliations. . In this role you are responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements and transactions and leading the AP Shared Services Team. This Accounts Payable Accountant role pays up to $75k and offers full benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
- Utilize three way matching to process invoices
- Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers
- Performs vendor data analysis to identify discrepancies
- Recommends actions to resolve the discrepancies
- Reviews invoices for appropriate support documentation and approval prior to payment
- Answers vendor inquiries
- Assist with month end closing
Requirements:
- Five years of proven full cycle AP experience
- Above average verbal and written communication skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Capable of managing high volume workload with control, accuracy, and efficiency
- Experience working with ERP systems and intermediate Excel
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
