IMMEDIATE OPENING: Confidential employer in NW Austin suburbs (north of West Lake Hills) is hiring an Accountant to perform accounts payable, payroll, and HR coordination. Org uses a PEO platform for staffing, so you will be a liaison to the employee leasing firm. Existing A/P Accountant is leaving the position on February 1. We seek to fill the position immediately for a smooth transition. Offsite HR recruiter is assisting their hiring function. This is NOT a fee-based search. Target hire date is January 10 or sooner.
- Process vendor invoicing and service provider fee reimbursements.
- Bi-weekly payroll, including bonus and commission payments.
- Collaborate with managers on PTO tracking and approvals, and expense approvals.
- Point of contact for credit card expense reporting portal.
- Employee electronic recordkeeping.
- Recurring and ad-hoc reporting.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, and interface with external PEO on staffing issues.
- Work closely with the CFO/COO regarding employee relations issues.
- Year-end 1099 reporting.
No direct reports. Department consists of CFO/COO; Controller, Accounting Supervisor, A/P Accountant, and A/R Associate. An Analyst headcount is being added in Q-2. Efficient, friendly work environment in a FANTASTIC office tech park. Very nice offices.

- NetSuite ERP, Microsoft Office, Oracle CX CRM, and ADP payroll software.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- 3 years' experience peforming all aspects of the position.
- BS degree or equivalent.
- Ability to work in office 40 hours per week. Position does not offer remote.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be willing to work in-office and be comfortable with commute to NW Austin, off Loop 360/RM-2222.
