LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in Central Phoenix. This company is in search of a temporary Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team for the next 3-4 months. This job is covering for a leave of absence, but may have potential to become permanent for the right person. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with hybrid flexibility.
As an AP Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands-on AP experience and a strong background in accounting processes.

As an AP Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands-on AP experience and a strong background in accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions including coding, posting, and reconciling invoices.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Review and process expense reports, ensuring they are in accordance with company guidelines.
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable to general ledger accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth communication regarding AP processes.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Bachelor Degree preferred. High school diploma required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts payable role.
- Experience with Great Plains software is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
