Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Tucson, AZ (Onsite)

Salary Range: $23 - $26 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Process a large volume of invoices efficiently and accurately while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors, respond to inquiries, and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Accurately enter and code invoices into the ERP system, ensuring proper classification and coding.
• Execute timely and accurate payment runs, utilizing various payment methods such as checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including preparing accruals and reconciling accounts.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Generate and analyze accounts payable reports to support management decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on high volume accounts payable processing.
• Proficient in working with large ERP systems; experience with Oracle is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve complex accounts payable issues.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
