What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banking & Finance Attorney - AM LAW position at LHH?
I am currently working with a leading AM law ranked firm, who are actively growing their Banking & Finance practice, which includes an Associate role in their Denver office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on banking and finance matters, including transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of financial agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including executives, risk management, and other legal professionals, to address legal issues and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Representation in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings related to banking and finance matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
- 3 years of banking and finance experience - ideally gained in a large law firm setting.
- Consumer finance regulatory and compliance experience is beneficial.
