Location: Onsite in Southeast Colorado Springs, CO
Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000. Benefits included medical, dental, 401(k) with 3% match, and more.
Responsibilities
- Managing the approved supply base and creating contracts and purchase orders
- Facilitating the request for quotation (RFQ) process
- Partnering with internal teams to understand customer needs and product specifications
- Sourcing, qualifying, and evaluating suppliers
- Negotiating contracts and payment terms and conditions
- Ensuring supplied compliance with performance standards and reviewing performance indicators
- Assisting purchasing agents with complex contract negotiations
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of buying/purchasing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle (or another ERP)
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to travel as needed
