LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Commercial Collections and Customer Service specialist for a growing client in the Mason, OH area. This position is responsible for managing and executing the collections process for our client’s commercial clients. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring timely payments, and resolving any payment issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of credit and collections practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $21 and $24/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the collections process for commercial accounts, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Maintain regular contact with clients to address payment issues, provide account updates, and negotiate payment plans as needed.
• Review and reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on collection activities, account status, and outstanding balances.
• Work closely with the sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve payment issues and improve the collections process.
• Ensure all collections activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B collections
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collections software.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
