Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Global Sourcing Specialist to join our team on a three-month assignment, focusing on Communications Agencies spend categories within Procurement. This role supports the Regional Category Manager in implementing global sourcing strategies and collaborating across procurement teams to align North American and global needs. The successful candidate will leverage their procurement and supplier management expertise to drive cost savings, manage contract negotiations, and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Collaborate with the Regional Category Manager to execute sourcing strategies for Communications Agencies.
- Lead RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations, ensuring value-driven results.
- Report on sourcing activity performance, savings, risks, and other key metrics.
- Stay informed on industry trends, benchmarking best practices to enhance procurement strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships through SRM programs and oversee pre/post-audit activities as required.
- Ensure adherence to Procurement Policies related to Risk, Compliance, and CSR, identifying corrective actions as needed.
Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key internal customers, ensuring a two-way, collaborative relationship.
- Present and review Procurement strategies with internal stakeholders to secure alignment and input.
- Identify and leverage synergies across business units to optimize procurement processes.
Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in Procurement or a related field (agency experience preferred).
- Experience in indirect procurement within professional services, marketing, or any non-raw materials sector.
- Proven experience working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders, ideally in a large matrix organization.
- Coupa experience preferred; pharma industry experience is a plus.

Education
