Job Title: Controller – Real Estate REIT Experience
Company Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role for an experienced professional with a strong background in Real Estate REITs and a proven track record within public companies. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of the financial close process and play a key role in the company's financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the financial close process.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic financial planning and decisions.
- Handle financial statements, reconciliations, and reports.
- Manage cash flow, capital structure, and financial performance.
- Provide financial insights to support the growth and success of the business.
- Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and regulatory standards.
- Support investor relations and public filings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with Real Estate REITs is required.
- Strong background in public company finance and accounting.
- Hands-on experience with financial processes and management.
- Strong understanding of financial close processes and accounting standards.
- Experience with public-private and private companies is acceptable.
- CPA certification is desirable but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
