Manager of FP&A
LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a Fortune 500 manufacturing company near Oak Brook to hire a Manager of FP&A. This role serves as the financial partner for corporate leaders across key functions, providing insights to support operational spending decisions. It leads the development of core financial metrics used across the organization and collaborates with FP&A and financial systems teams to align reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial support to senior leadership, including board presentations and acquisition analysis.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for executive leadership, highlighting key metrics.
- Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan and 3-year strategic plan.
- Analyze company performance and trends, offering recommendations to meet financial goals.
- Monitor progress against company and segment strategies.
- Maintain reporting tools to support financial forecasting and analysis.
- Calculate and communicate annual and long-term incentive compensation plans to senior management.
- Drive process improvements to enhance financial forecasting, reduce cycle times, and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with corporate and segment leaders to expand financial support services.
- Coach staff on financial analysis and reporting best practices.
- Support ad hoc projects from senior management and other departments, including Investor Relations and HR.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7 years of corporate FP&A experience from a mid-large company
- Manufacturing or product based industry experience
- People leadership
- Corporate or public accounting foundation
- CPA, preferred
- OneStream experience, a plus
