LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist for a 100% on-site role in Tampa, FL. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in provider credentialing, enrollment, and compliance.
Position Details
- Location: Tampa, FL (On-Site)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
- Start Date: ASAP
- Serve as a liaison between medical staff, administration, and healthcare plans to ensure smooth credentialing and enrollment processes.
- Manage provider enrollment with Medicaid, PECOS/Medicare, and CAQH, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate provider data, tracking certification and license expirations, and ensuring timely renewals.
- Process new provider applications and re-credentialing requests, including verifying resumes, conducting background checks, and securing references.
- Prepare credentialing files for Board review and approval, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain provider records in an online credentialing database system.
- Stay up to date on licensing and certification requirements and ensure compliance with HIPAA, state, federal, and accreditation regulations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in credentialing, provider, and facility enrollment.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid, PECOS/Medicare, and CAQH.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
