We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and help guide the growth of our organization based in Lake Worth, Florida. This leadership role is ideal for a finance professional who excels at balancing big-picture strategy with hands-on execution.
The Director of Finance will work closely with executive leadership to oversee all financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting. You’ll play a key role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and business reports
- Manage cash flow, financial risk, and capital planning
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and tax requirements
- Develop and implement scalable financial systems, processes, and internal controls
- Partner with department leaders and executive team on financial strategy and performance metrics
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and external financial relationships (e.g., banks, auditors)
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, or manage outsourced functions as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, MBA, or CFA preferred)
- 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, including leadership experience
- Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely
- Experience in a growth-stage organization or fast-paced environment is a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
