Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Mission Viejo. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks, including reconciliations and AP reporting.
- Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries regarding payments.
- Support the accounting team with administrative tasks and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of AP or general accounting experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
