About the Role :
This role requires experience in wet utilities and familiarity with multi-family housing and municipal projects. What You’ll Do :
- Mentor and manage a team of 2-3 estimators, fostering their growth and development.
- Prepare precise cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze construction documents (blueprints, specifications) to determine project scope and costs.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to compile estimates and aid in budget development.
- Assist in bid solicitation and review submissions for contract compliance.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and contribute to project qualification interviews.
- Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategies and estimating improvements.
- Ensure timely reporting and maintain strong vendor and contractor relationships.
