What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at LHH?
LHH is partnering with an established, non-automotive manufacturing organization in the search for a Finance Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in driving the company’s financial performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis
- Create and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Provide variance analysis and identify key drivers impacting financial performance
- Analyze and report on cost structures, including standard vs. actual cost variances
- Oversee inventory control processes, including inventory valuation, reconciliation, and reporting
- Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover
- Work closely with various departments, including operations, supply chain, and IT, to gather data, analyze trends, and support business initiatives
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling, as well as lead special projects to support strategic projects and business decisions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- MBA or CPA preferred
- 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, and inventory management
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems
