What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Controller position at LHH?
The Regional Controller is responsible for partnering with local General Managers and the Regional Vice President to deliver monthly financial statements, forecasts, and conduct in-depth analyses of profitability, cash flow, and other financial metrics. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite near Villa Park.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of the assigned properties, consolidating and interpreting critical financial data for informed decision-making.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, supporting General Managers in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Develop financial projections to support strategic and operational decisions aimed at enhancing financial outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures while advising the General Managers and site management on financial practices.
- Report directly to the Finance department, with a dotted line to the Regional Vice President of Operations, while closely collaborating with the Regional Operations team.
- Manage daily, monthly, and other periodic financial reporting requirements across local, regional, and corporate levels.
- Support the RVP and General Managers in the analysis of operational data, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s key profitability drivers.
- Oversee management of fixed assets, insurance costs, and inventory of parts and equipment, all valued in the multi-million dollar range.
- Provide financial support for new business initiatives and contract re-procurement, working closely with the operations and business development teams.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned to support financial and operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience managing financial processes across multiple entities or states, including month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Industry background in manufacturing, distribution, or hospitality required
Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
