What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Reporting - SEC Consultant position at LHH?
LHH is currently seeking a Financial Reporting consultant with SEC reporting experience for a contract assignment with one of our clients in Houston, TX. This position will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of SEC reports and technical accounting research. Specific job duties for this position include:
- Assist with preparation of financial statements including SEC filings
- Preparation of MD&A and footnote disclosures
- Perform technical research of new accounting standards and accounting transactions
- Assist with quarter-end and year-end accounting close
Qualifications:
- A degree in accounting, CPA preferred
- 3 years of financial reporting experience including SEC reporting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong Excel skills required, and experience with Workiva preferred
