What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grant Writer position at LHH?
LHH is looking for a Grant Writer to support a project for one of our clients. You will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. You will work closely with our program staff to understand our funding needs and develop compelling proposals that align with our mission and goals.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential funding sources.
- Write and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and other funding requests.
- Develop and maintain relationships with funders and potential funders.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather information and develop proposal content.
- Track and report on the status of grant proposals and funding requests.
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and reporting deadlines.
- Proven experience in grant writing, with a successful track record of securing funding.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and best practices.
