LHH Recruitment Solutions (HR division) is partnering with a client in Kansas City, MO, and assisting them search for a new HR Business Partner to join their team. This is a new role for the organization and will join a team of HR Business Partners tasked with various responsibilities in the talent management space. This is a legacy client of LHH Recruitment Solutions, with strong HR leadership, growth opportunities, and a solid global reputation. This is a hybrid position and will work in office 3 days per week. The Talent Business Partner works closely with the overall Talent team and Firm to evaluate and support the needs of the business and create talent tools and resources to increase leadership, team and individual effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Partners across talent team to develop best practices for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
- Helps to build out internal processes and definition of roles for the talent partners working with the talent team and business.
- Analyzes trends and metrics to create reporting dashboards in partnership with the talent group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Utilize data and feedback to identify bottlenecks and areas of improvement.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and company policies related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the general counsel as needed/required.
- Partner with Talent team on employee relations issues across business units, offices, and/or regions.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong project management skills across projects of varying size and scope
- Skilled in managing employee relations matters.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to communicate professionally at all levels within the organization
- Bachelor’s degree
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resource experience in a professional services setting
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
