LHH Recruitment Solutions is representing a distinguished law firm that specializes in Labor and Employment law. They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Legal Secretary to join their team and provide essential support to their attorneys in delivering high-quality legal services to their clients. This role is fully in office located in New Orleans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to up to 4 attorneys,
- Communicate effectively with clients and manage client interactions.
- Perform conflict checks and manage docketing.
- Create Tables of Authorities and handle scheduling and calendaring.
- Draft legal pleadings, documents, and correspondence.
- Maintain Continuing Legal Education (CLE) records, reports, and time records.
- Arrange travel plans for attorneys.
- Type at a speed of 65 words per minute.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably with a background in litigation.
- Knowledge of ERISA is advantageous.
- Experience in Labor and Employment matters is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in preparing and managing legal documents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
