I am currently working with a reputable boutique law firm in Kansas City, who are actively looking to recruit an experienced attorney to join its commercial litigation group.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist with deposition preparation and witness interviews.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.
- Provide general support to the litigation department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Missouri and/or Kansas.
- 5 years of experience in business or commercial litigation law.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent business development skills.
