They are seeking a Payroll Administrator to assist with weekly payroll taxes, employee correspondence, and garnishments. Primary Functions:
- Responsible for accurate and timely preparation, filing, and payment of all local, state, and federal payroll taxes
- Accurately process garnishment, tax levies, and child support orders and handling of agency correspondence
- Correspond with employees
- Assist with maintenance and audit of direct deposit and pay card information
- Load payroll files, review and audit results for accuracy and compliance with regulations as well as client program specifications
- Assist with weekly payroll processing, auditing, reconciliation, record keeping, and report writing
- Prepare and process independent contractor payments
- Document and maintain payroll procedures in collaboration with respective teams
- Prepare management and ad-hoc reporting
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations, tax laws, and employment standards
- Demonstrate sense of urgency and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Follow-up/close out all tasks/questions timely
- Display good judgement and strong problem solving ability
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
- Ability to switch gears/tasks and be flexible
- Positive attitude
- Workday experience preferred
