Job Title: Production Engineer
Location: Kankakee, IL
Salary: $90,000-$125,000 Bonus
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Production Engineer to join our client's organization in the Kankakee, IL area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily production demands through troubleshooting with operators and maintenance teams.
- Complete lock out, tag out documentation for maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Manage changes for temporary operations and process improvements.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or B.S. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years of production engineering experience preferred; 1-2 years of hands-on field production support required; experience with small projects (50k – 250k) and mechanical integrity planning or management is a plus.
- Knowledge/Specialized Skills: Experience with DeltaV, OSIPI, GMP, PSM, distillation columns, Six Sigma, and LEAN manufacturing is a plus.
