What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Engineer position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Production Engineer to join our client in Manteno, IL. This full-time direct hire full is fully onsite.
The Production Engineer will be responsible for daily production engineering needs for the site. This individual will focus on capital investments, optimizing processes and production quality for the assigned area. This position will work with Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Quality to ensure daily production goals are met.
Key Duties:
- Troubleshooting process issues and ensuring correct productivity and quality
- Maintaining daily production demands by troubleshooting with production and maintenance
- Managing capital projects, ensuring capital projects align with production requirements
- Ensure safety as it relates to production processes and ensure proper safety and relevant regulations
- Conduct process training to operators on new equipment and processes
- Assess technologies and seek approvals for new concepts to improve quality and efficiency
- Consult with Production leadership and Quality team to address quality and production issues
- Improve processes by acting as the process owner for production processes
- MOC documentation for temporary operations and process improvements
- Adhere to GMP requirements
Key Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering (Chemical is preferred)
- 1 years of hands on production support
- 3 years of production engineering experience is preferred
- Experience in a PSM or GMP facility is a plus
- Mechanical Integrity planning
- DeltaV is a plus
- LEAN or Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
