We are seeking a Property Accountant to join our reputable real estate client. The Property Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of a real estate portfolio, including maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for the real estate portfolio, including rent rolls, lease agreements, and tenant information.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each property, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and trends in property performance.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for properties.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of property-related transactions.
- Assist in the coordination of annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a full cycle accounting role.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
