Job Summary: Our client is seeking a dedicated Safety Representative to join their team. This role involves supporting the Director of Loss Control and the Project Team in implementing safety controls, processes, and procedures to prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conducting inspections, accident/incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

What you will do:
- Integrate into job sites gradually to avoid liability.
- Work closely with project managers and build rapport with leadership.
- Assist in managing safety controls and processes.
- Conduct inspections and accident/incident investigations.
- Enforce adherence to health and safety laws and regulations.
- Support the Director of Loss Control and Project Team in safety-related tasks.
What you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety, environmental, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a safety-related role in the construction industry or relevant internship experience.
- Familiarity with Health and Safety Plans and Job Hazard Analysis.
- OSHA 10-hour and OSHA 30-hour construction safety certifications or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation: $70k-$90k bonus based on experience
