What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant, Mansfield 90K-95K (Hybrid) position at LHH?
We are looking to fill a Senior Accountant position in Mansfield, Texas with a well-known Construction company. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including preparing financial ledgers, assisting with month end/year end close, audits, reconciling accounts, reconciling bank statements, assisting with audits, budgeting and forecasting activities.
This position pays 90K-95K and offers 1-2 days work from home after 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting, Budgeting, Audit, and Forecasting skills and experience
- Prepare financial ledgers and reports in compliance with GAAP
- Assist with deadline driven month-end close and year-end close
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes as assigned
- Ability to take ownership of assigned multiple entities - multi-location accounting
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed
Qualifications:
- BBA in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.
- Public Accounting is a big plus
- Proficiency in accounting software and Intermediate level
- Strong Excel Skills
