Senior Accountant
Position Summary: We are assisting our client with a search for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join their finance team. You will manage complex accounting tasks, ensure compliance with GAAP, and contribute to strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities:
- Record transactions in the general ledger accurately and timely.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements.
- Compile financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and assist in budget preparation.
- Implement best practices to improve accounting efficiency and coordinate with external auditors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA certification or working towards it is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
