What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accounting Analyst position at LHH?
LHH is partnering with a well-known company in the search for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their Corporate team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the month-end close process
- Post journal entries and review account reconciliations
- Prepare and distribute month-end financial reports
- Communicate effectively with cross functional teams
- Implement accounting and reporting procedures and controls
- Perform research and implement accounting standards where applicable
- Assist with extracting reports, analyzing transaction activity, and resolving discrepancies
- Ad-hoc responsibilities and special projects, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA or MBA, preferred.
- 2 years of accounting experience obtained in public accounting or in industry
- ERP experience
- Strong MS Office skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel
- Excellent communication skills
