LHH is partnering with a Santa Clarita area client seeking a Sr. HR Generalist - Spanish Bilingual who will handle Employee Relations matters including investigations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Handle a variety of employee concerns and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies. This includes conducting thorough investigations, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate actions.
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Investigate complaints and allegations of misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and other workplace issues. Gather and analyze evidence, interview involved parties and prepare detailed reports of findings.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation. Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Offer clear and concise explanations to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Consult with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Partner with managers to address employee performance issues, disciplinary actions, and other HR-related matters. Offer advice and support to help managers navigate complex situations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. Collaborate with the HR team to create and update policies that reflect current laws and best practices. Ensure policies are communicated effectively to all employees.
- Identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee performance, retention, and engagement. Analyze employee data to identify patterns and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
- Offer counseling services to employees regarding work-related issues. Provide support and guidance to employees facing personal or professional challenges. Help employees develop coping strategies and connect them with additional resources if needed.
- Assist with hiring and termination procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- This role will include travel to sites throughout CA and Western US States on occasion.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience within Human Resources with employee relations and investigations.
- Experience with managing employee relations matters either directly or in a supporting role required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits practices and principles, as well as general knowledge of employment laws and regulations and data privacy laws.
- Bilingual Spanish is Required
Salary : $78,000 - $86,000
