Responsibilities:
- Produces quality, accurate and timely monthly financial statements by preparing GAAP monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Records bank reconciliations monthly
- Prepare period end financials by creating required G/L entries and accruals
- Handle both AP/AR process
- Support multiples branches by providing financial insights and relevant reporting
- Prepare multi jurisdiction sales and use tax returns, perform tax table maintenance
- Assist with review and costing of physical inventory, reconcile variance in cost of goods sold to inventory count
- Assist with annual budget process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Must have at least 3 years of experience
- Retail experience is a big plus
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Pay
- $35-$42 an hour based on experience
