Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled ACM Assembler / Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, including proficiency in various construction techniques and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves working in a construction warehouse and requires mechanical knowledge to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications. Must be able to accurately and proficiently read a tape measure.
Duties
- Utilize various construction techniques to build ACM Panels
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Operate power tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to shape and cut metal materials.
- Perform quality checks on fabricated components to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to execute projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction techniques is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience using calipers and other measuring tools for precise fabrication.
- Familiarity with operating power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to fabricate metal components based on detailed schematics.
- Must be able to accurately and proficiently read a tape measure.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be able to work our shop hours which start at 5am
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
