Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Production Operator to join our Operations Team in an innovative manufacturing plant. You’ll be responsible for daily operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and troubleshooting and work with advanced technologies to optimize processes and contribute to sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently in the pilot plant.
- Accurately record, document and report operational data, performance metrics, and process parameters.
- Ensure operational parameters are maintained within limits and make process adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the team on safety, production, quality, and operational issues.
- Handle raw material shipments, including receiving and loading liquid/powder components.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be safety conscious, display attention to detail, have good communication skills and be able to work in a team-based environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in chemical engineering, process technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience in chemical plant operations or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb stairs, crawl for equipment access, stand for long durations, and lift up to 45 lbs safely.
- Must be able to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as a respirator and Tyvek Suit, for extended periods.
Additional Details:
Night/Swing shifts will receive a shift differential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
