Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
- Ensure accurate medication administration by verifying prescriptions and patient information.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support acute care initiatives and improve patient outcomes.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, restocking, and disposing of expired medications.
- Document all medication-related activities accurately in accordance with hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred; relevant experience in a hospital or acute care setting is advantageous.
