Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative, predictive, and unplanned maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs, industrial PCs, AC/DC drives, safety sensors, and motion controls
- Support equipment installation, setup, modification, and relocation to improve production efficiency
- Maintain accurate records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Adhere to workplace safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and function block logic
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting (or 2 years with a recognized trade certification)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
- Knowledge of industrial PCs, PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat), relays, contactors, and sensors
- Ability to read schematics and perform equipment repairs safely and efficiently
- Basic understanding of single and 3-phase electrical systems (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for tracking tasks and maintenance records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Certifications & Experience
- 309A – Electrician or 433A – Industrial Mechanic certification
- Experience with CMMS systems and electrical/hydraulic systems
- Forklift or scissor lift certification
