Liberation Programs is hiring a Recovery Coach to provide recovery coaching services to Recoverees on-site at our Men's Residential Treatment Facility, Liberation House in Stamford, CT.
The Recovery Coach will serve as a source of hope and support, including as a motivator, recovery resource broker, mentor and liaison to individuals struggling with opioid misuse or other substance misuse, including alcohol. The ideal person will be kind, enthusiastic, extremely well organized and passionate about working closely with people in recovery. A valid driver's license, insurance and reliable vehicle required.
Qualifications :
- Certificate of Completion from the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy
- Ability to travel to and from our Bridgeport and Stamford Location
- Reliable and ability to be flexible depending on each clinic's needs
- Understanding of medication-assisted recovery, treatment and best practices
- Experienced at building effective coach-Recoveree relationships
- Ability to be an effective listener
- Ability to communicate and work in conjunction with clinical staff regarding recoveree needs / progress
