Libertas Mind is one of the Capital Region’s only medical practices offering interventional mental health. Located in Clifton Park, NY - Libertas Medical Services is a private practice providing access to the latest medical services and technological innovations to treat mental health.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and administrative support, particularly in an outpatient setting.

Duties :

• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms and equipment.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Handle laboratory specimens and assist with minor surgical procedures as needed.

Qualifications :

Time

This is a part-time on-site role for 3-4 days a week with growth to full-time possible. Currently seeking 20 - 30 hours per week. Flexible schedule with 2-4 shifts per week divided into 5 hours blocks 2 : 30 -7 : 30 pm. Preference given to candidates who can work on Saturdays 9 - 3 pm.
