SUMMARY OF THE JOB
Assist managing Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) projects for the bank which include new locations, new/upgrades to systems, process updates to comply with new regulatory requirements, process improvements, large strategic initiatives, etc.).
This is a 10-week Summer Internship, with Full-Time Hours located on-site in Middletown, CT
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with project management process (e.g., meeting facilitation, scope and schedule development, issue and risk management
Shadow Project Managers during project management activities and meetings
Receive mentoring on project management and EPMO processes, tools, and procedures from EPMO Leader and Project Managers
Help with EPMO process improvement initiatives
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A junior or senior currently enrolled in a program with a focus on project management.
Have an academic level of written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to actively listen, communicate in ways that foster trust and show flexibility.
Self-motivated and able to make decisions with limited guidance.
Strong attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills, and a high level of organization and enthusiasm.

Lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
Use of general office equipment
Ability to travel.
