Purpose of the Position : Under moderate supervision supports the Company vision, mission, and strategic plan by providing excellent customer service and related support to all customers, either in-person, via phone or via email.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Works towards service excellence by providing customers, both internal and external, with accurate and timely product and service information in accordance with Company standards.
- Accurately and in a timely fashion, enter customer orders into the database, verifying and communicating product availability and delivery information.
- Acts as an extension of sales by offering suggestions for replacement items when an item is out of stock, upselling products to compliment items ordered by customers and promoting special promotions.
- Within designated guidelines, resolves product or service problems by clarifying the complaint, determining the cause of the problem, offering alternatives and solutions to the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Communicates effectively and professionally, orally and in writing with internal and external customers, acting as a team player between customers, customer care associates and the rest of the Organization.
- Follows standardized work procedures, departmental processes, and Company guidelines.
- Seeks ways to contribute to the company’s overall success.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
