The Director of Large Store Key Accounts will develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and profitability within large store key accounts segment at Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages (LCCB). This role leads a high-performing team and collaborates cross-functionally to implement key initiatives, ensuring NAOU customer plans align with Liberty's objectives and joint business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, major grocery chains, supercenters, and other large format retail partners.
- Drive revenue growth through effective assortment planning, pricing strategies, promotional programs, and new product launches.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to achieve sales objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of business plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Analyze sales data and KPIs to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans.
- Manage department budget effectively to maximize ROI and drive profitable growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a high school diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8 years of experience in sales, key account management, or related field within the consumer-packaged goods industry.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong analytical skills with data analysis, drawing insights, and making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with business plan development and execution.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Working knowledge of PAT & CTM/CMA/channel pricing systems preferred.
- Ability to travel extensively within Liberty Territory (approximately 40% travel).
