The Manager of Compliance is responsible for managing all aspects of the organization’s compliance program, including supporting business units in creating and implementing controls that ensure compliance with federal and state law and program requirements. Responsibilities also include planning, directing, and completing regulatory and client audits; managing corrective action plans (CAPs); and training and mentoring team members. This role requires adherence to the strictest degree of professional standards, and a strong working knowledge of HIPAA and Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage and Managed Care requirements (DMHC, DHCS, CMS, etc.).
Job Summary Details
- Managing all audit and corrective action activity, including maintaining the organization’s audit calendar, and reporting on audit and CAP outcomes.
- Working across the organization to identify risk, remediation planning, and report accordingly.
- Responsible for timely audit submission and maintaining audit files.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure deadlines are met.
- Promoting the satisfaction, development and productivity of Compliance staff.
- Support the business in operationalizing laws and program requirements.
- Working collaboratively, as part of the organization’s management team, to ensure the success of organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- 4 Year / Bachelor Degree required
- Healthcare Compliance Certification preferred
- 6 years' progressive experience developing and managing compliance activities within a managed care setting
- Previous direct experience with Medicaid/Medicare Advantage programs including experience with internal and regulatory audits
Specific Skills/Knowledge
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Exchange lines of business.
- Versed in HIPAA and other federal and state laws that pertain to managed care.
- Knowledge of dental benefits is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels, and in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $100,000 - $130,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Liberty, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
