What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Relationship Coordinator position at LIBERTY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION?
Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking a Client Relationship Coordinator to join the Liberty Wealth Services team. This individual will enhance the client experience and deepen the relationship the client has with the Wealth Services department. Providing administrative support and detailed follow up on outstanding service from prior appointments. This role will primarily focus on the post meeting details to ensure all tasks are appropriately completed in a timely fashion. The ideal candidate requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational and client service skills.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Call clients/prospects at set times after initial meeting with the Advisor to review what was completed, and what is outstanding
- Identify, build and deepen relationships through regular value-added engagement with clients mostly via direct phone communication
- Keep client management systems up-to-date with client information
- Assist with information and documentation requirements for new accounts, transfers, and more
- Conduct proactive outreach to clients and advisors on time sensitive activities (e.g., RMDs)
- Assist with account activities that are operational in nature including new accounts, cash management, transfers, and account maintenance (e.g., periodic distributions, debits)
- Assume ownership of inquiries and requests; communicate with internal departments to ensure clients' expectations for timely service delivery are met
- Educate clients on account services, capabilities, and new technology
- Manage our referral program through the credit union by assigning referrals to the appropriate advisor, while closing the referral on the back end in a timely manner
- Perform various other duties assigned
- May serve as backup to other Sales Assistants
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Desire to take ownership and provide the best service in the industry

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Pro-active with the ability to think ahead and act independently
- Must work well in a team environment, supporting others
- Must be able to prioritize and switch tasks as needed
- Comfortable with Microsoft suite products: Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint
- Ability to work in office Monday-Friday
Experience and Education:
- 3 years in a similar role or as an administrative professional
- Knowledge and understanding of financial terms, strategies, and products
- Experience with a similar role with a wealthy advisory firm is a plus, but not required
- Preferred, already have or willing to obtain SIE, Series 7, 66
