Liberty FCU is currently seeking a Consumer Loan Officer with excellent communication and member service skills to join our growing team. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Meet our members' lending needs by providing them with a lending experience that meets their financial needs in a professional, positive, and personal way.
- Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships in order to become our members' personal lender.
- Participate in outbound calling campaigns to cultivate strong relationships with our customers.
- Ensure we are meeting all our members' financial needs by searching for additional loan or deposit opportunities with every encounter.
- Deliver results that exceed member expectations, individual goals, and department goals.
- Provide our members with peace of mind by presenting them with optional protection products during the loan process.
- Process consumer loan requests from application to closing.
- Understand and follow the credit union's lending policies.
- Be willing to work a modified work schedule if necessary, including some evenings and Saturdays.
- Lending Contact Center (no face-to-face member interactions)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous experience at a financial institution or 3 years sales experience
