Job Description: Work with customers in all types of lending; consumer, commercial, and agriculture. Grow customer loyalty by challenging customer’s financial request in a way that discovers the true need or want and puts them on the path to long term financial success. You will be responsible for managing your own loan portfolio to achieve acceptable long term performance. Oversee the entire loan process, from preliminary disclosure to loan closing and servicing. You will also work with others in the lending process. This may include loan processers, realtors, sellers, title companies, participating banks, or other various parties to the transaction. Prepare Loan committee reports for loans over authority and discuss marginal credits with senior lender or officer committee prior to decision to ensure compliance with loan policy and asset integrity. Assist senior lender and others in management for ways to improve bank performance. Special project planning and implementation from time to time. Job Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Ag Business, Business, Economics, or Finance; or equivalent work experience in Ag/small business lending. * NMLS registration will be required. * Computer aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word * Knowledge of lending regulations * Strong oral, verbal and written communication skills * Demonstrated abilities in problem solving, time management, analysis, and organizational skills * The desire to be the best along with the discipline required to be so. * Ability to prioritize task and work independently or within a team to achieve goal by deadline. * Willingness to learn new things * Passionate about community banking The appropriate candidate will have a combination of education and experience in business development, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance.
