Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the appearance and conduct of the sales operations projects a professional company image.
- Ensure proper information to do quotes. May require going to job sites to measure, taking information off blueprints, and listening to customer needs.
- Obtain material estimates and develop accurate quotes. Ensure that the proper materials, forms and guidelines are utilized as directed by the Branch Manager.
- Establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with customers and suppliers.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and resolve customer complaints in an expeditious manner to the satisfaction of the customer while not jeopardizing the economic benefit and profitability of the company.
- Establishing and maintaining a communicative, coordinated, and cooperative relationship with the other departments within the organization.
- Handle telephone calls and provide ballpark estimates.
- Assist in coordinating all sales, orders, and customer communications.
- Ensure that good public relations within the community are maintained.
- Make outside sales calls to targeted customer lists in each product category.
- Complete the monthly sales report and submit it to the Branch Manager on a weekly basis.
- Update & Maintain customer quotes in TRUE/QuickBooks.
- Attend all weekly sales meetings.
Requirements:
- High School Graduation or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the construction industry.
- Using analytical and observation skills that demonstrates the ability to organize and direct oneself.
- Ability to show leadership in the areas of sales.
- Standing, sitting, walking, and lifting to 10 pounds. carrying, use of hands, eyes and arms and voice.
