Guest Service/Cashier/Barista

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Guest Service/Cashier/Barista and retail service provider to join our Liberty Heights Fresh team! The ideal candidate will always provide exceptional customer service, efficiently handle transactions, learn about recommending our good food to our guests and always contribute to a pleasant shopping experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Greet all customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere. Assist customers with inquiries about products and services.
  
• Transaction Handling: Accurately process cash, credit/debit card, and gift card transactions. Ensure all sales are recorded correctly and handle returns and exchanges with kindness and professionalism.
  
• Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our ever changing offerings, including specialty items, promotions and seasonal products to assist customers effectively.
  
• Beverage Preparation: Craft and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  
• Store Presentation: Assist to maintain a clean and organized store for customers to shop, always in a welcoming environment.
  
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee cart and cashier counter supplies. Assist with inventory control and ordering to maintain adequate supplies.
  
• Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring cleanliness in the coffee cart area, equipment, food preparation surfaces, and store floor. You must possess a current Utah Food Handlers Permit.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
  
• Previous experience as a barista or in a coffee shop.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
  
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
