What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Technician [LH Outpatient Surgery] position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Assist the surgical team to prepare operating room and patient for surgery, assist surgeon during surgery, assist with patient transfer/transport, room and equipment cleanup. Assist surgeon in outpatient clinic with exams and procedures.
Required Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Healthcare Provider
Preferred Education/Training: Associate's degree
Preferred Experience: Recent scrub experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
